A whole new year

Labor Day is always a hard holiday to accept. Summer is officially 'gone' and on starts a new year. Do we ever think it would come so soon? Yesterday, the Zoom and I took advantage of everything that will close in preparation for the winter. Despite the fact that it is still 90+ degree weather. We went to the pool, we had hot dogs, corn, and potato salad, and kayaked on the lake. The sun wasn't as bright and wind was in the air.
Fall is definitely in the air. I even saw my first pumpkin at the farmers market last week. Life just travels fast.
