Banana Banana Bread

Posted by Unknown

I love banana bread and recently was thinking if I could improve upon my recipe. I typed in google Banana Bread and found this one with 2886 reviews of five stars. That's a lot of stars so it must be good. I'm making it today and will let you know. I usually put cinnamon and vanilla in mine so I'm not 100% convinced it will be the best. But I guess it's worth a try. Being different is good right? Below is the recipe for Allrecipes.com

INGREDIENTS
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 1/3 cups mashed overripe bananas

DIRECTIONS
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
In a large bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, cream together butter and brown sugar. Stir in eggs and mashed bananas until well blended. Stir banana mixture into flour mixture; stir just to moisten. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan.
Bake in preheated oven for 60 to 65 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into center of the loaf comes out clean. Let bread cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack.

I have allrecipes.com as one of my favorites, I use it all the time and have not had a bad recipe yet. It helps to read the reviews and I usually follow the suggestions. I am sure it will turn out well but with the cleansing thing??? can you tast it or are Matt and Cam the testers? I couldn't handle that!
